Water's Edge

We have been coming to Blue Ridge for vacation for the last 10 years. We can say without a doubt our stay at Water's Edge at Stanley Creek has been our favorite!! It is in the perfect location to get to all the fun activities. If you love a scenic hike, we recommend the Toccoa River Swinging Bridge, Duke Creek Falls, Brasstown Bald, Fall Branch Falls, Amicalola Falls and Vogel State Park. If hiking isn't your thing, take some time to go to downtown Blue Ridge for local shopping, visit Mercier Orchard, drive the Richard B. Russell Scenic Highway and maybe swing by the "Alpine" town of Helen for German beer and a pretzel!!  We spent quality time at the cabin after our long days out and created life-long memories of playing with the dogs in the creek, sitting by the fire pit with some adult beverages, hanging in the hot tub, and reading by the cozy fireplace. The ambiance this cabin provides is unmatched and we look forward to our next stay at Water's Edge! Thank you for letting us stay!

The cabin was nicely furnished and has special touches. I especially enjoyed the string lights and the stream. It was very peaceful drinking coffee by the stream. This place would be an amazing place to go for family bonding time.

Our time at your cabin was nothing but amazing! We thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere. The weather was cold and we even saw snow flurries. We enjoyed the fire pit and making s'mores. We had multiple movie nights in the theater and played many games of pool. Every night we used the kitchen and made some really good meals. The best part was all the memories made with family.

I'm so glad I found your beautiful cabin! The cabin was the perfect size for myself, my husband and my three teenage boys. We loved the coziness of the cabin, the yard where they could toss a football, the creek, the fire pit, the kitchen, the bathrooms, all in all we had a great time. We are very outdoorsy so we didn't use any of the TV's or the game room, but very awesome amenities to have in case of bad weather, or if we were to stay longer, etc. :) Thank you so much for making a last minute getaway with my boys, before school starts up again, a great one!

Wow! What an incredible cabin! We enjoyed every moment of our stay at Water's Edge--we just wish we could have stayed longer! We came to celebrate my husband Will's 40th birthday! What a place to ring in the big 4-0 and have some good meals and conversation! Honestly, we've stayed in many cabins throughout Blue Ridge and this one is perfect! It has everything and is in such a beautiful setting. We felt world's away which is just what we wanted! We will look no further when choosing a cabin in the future! It was chilly but we still spent time down by the creek and fire pit! We enjoyed all the amenities and cozy decor. Thank you so much for opening your home to us--we will certainly be back!

This place is amazing!! Everything was perfect for our family. We enjoyed playing pool, cornhole, and just sitting by the fire to relax. It was so nice to have a family getaway to have some peaceful time away from the every day work life. On Saturday, we enjoyed fly fishing in Blue Ridge and watched football (Go Dawgs!!) Sunday was ziplining and visiting Bear Claw Vineyards. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. Thanks so much for this amazing stay! We will definitely be back soon!

We had such a relaxing and peaceful time here at Water's Edge! It was the perfect getaway that we needed this week. Our favorite times were reading by the creek, relaxing in the hammock beside the water and having a romantic movie night in the theater. We loved how cozy and peaceful this home was! It was so refreshing to visit and just relax and be present with each other. Thank you for this amazing opportunity! Our stay was such a blessing and we'll definitely be sharing our experience!

This was a wonderful retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life into the calm and soothing sounds of nature! This cabin had plenty of what you would need-both inside and out. The rooms are spacious and the beds are super comfortable, the bathrooms are modern and sleek, and the kitchen and living areas give guests plenty of room to hang out, watch TV or movies, or hang out in the kitchen. Everything was adequately stocked, although I would suggest bringing your own hand soaps for your bathrooms if you don't like the little bar soaps that are provided! But what sets this property apart is the outdoor spaces. Not too far from town, this cabin is tucked away right on Stanley Creek and is not far from the Toccoa River. We loved spending mornings on the decks, afternoons in the creek, and evenings gathered around the campfire. We loved every moment spent with our family here. ??????

This cabin was very easy to find and you are still close enough to Blue Ridge to drive in for things you need or to check out the town. You can sit outside on either of two decks, by the creek, or by the fire pit and just enjoy the sound of the creek and the nature around you. It has almost everything you will need and was very clean. We enjoyed a wonderful time in this cabin. We had a nice visit from 5 playful deer, went to Mercier Orchard and had a nice meal at the Toccoa Riverside Restaurant. A wonderful getaway with cooler weather and we look forward to another visit soon!

We are so lucky to have gotten to celebrate our friends 27th birthday here with our 2 sweet pups! This weekend was everything and more than we could have dreamed of! We went hiking, strolled through downtown, went to the Georgia Aquarium and Coco-Cola World and so much more! It was so nice to get away and "get off the grid". We hope to come back soon!

The house is close to Stanley Creek, in a semi secluded area, well maintained, clean, kitchen was well supplied with necessities. Bed was comfortable. We enjoyed our stay at Water's Edge. Fishing was fun, even though we didn't catch “the BIG ONE”.
