Description

Imagine a wooded oasis with two springs flowing into a pond, deer that visit daily, and a magnificent cabin at the center of it all. This may sound like an enchanted forest straight out of a fairytale, but it’s real and waiting for you to discover it for yourself. Aptly called Secluded Springs, this unique property is a serene, private hideaway that surrounds you with nature’s beauty. You can catch-and-release fish in the stocked pond (bamboo poles supplied), play horseshoes or bocce ball, relax in a rocker, porch swing, hot tub, the bench beside the pond or the Adirondack chairs surrounding the fire pit as you listen to the soothing sound of the flowing water.

You can take advantage of fun activities like hiking to waterfalls, horseback riding; kayaking and boating on Lake Blue Ridge or Lake Nottely; swimming at Morganton Point Recreation Area; whitewater rafting on the Ocoee River; visiting local wineries, Mercier Orchards, or the Chattahoochee National Forest; and exploring the shops and restaurants of downtown Blue Ridge, just 10 miles away.

Inside, the cedar cabin is spacious yet cozy, decorated in rustic meets modern style with ikat accents. The open plan main floor living area features a cathedral ceiling, a large leather sofa, wood-burning fireplace and a 56” TV with a Bluetooth soundbar. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare, cook and serve, with custom cabinetry, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances including an extra-large refrigerator with icemaker, an electric stove/oven, a crockpot and Keurig coffeemaker. The dining table seats six plus four at the island breakfast bar, one of several custom pieces made by a local woodworker.

In the downstairs game room, you’ll find a table and a wet bar with sink, fridge and icemaker, a 56” TV with DVD/Blu-ray player and movies, a shuffleboard game, a Ms. Pac-Man arcade table with a 17” screen and eight games, an electric fireplace and plenty of comfy seating.

Outside on the wraparound deck, there are covered and uncovered seating areas with rockers, chairs, tables (two of the latter made by the owners with help from their three sons).  You can fire up the gas grill and enjoy the sunshine and fresh mountain air.

The three bedrooms, one per floor, include a spacious master suite on the upper level with a log king bed, electric fireplace, walk-in closet, 46” TV, a coffee cart with coffeemaker, a private balcony with a table and two rocking chairs, and a private bath with tub/shower combo. The main floor bedroom has a queen log bed, 34” TV, and a computer workstation.  There’s another queen bed in the downstairs bedroom, and each have their own walk-in showers.

The cabin also provides guests with wireless internet, a washer/dryer, ceiling fans throughout, and a level playing area. Dogs are welcome, so feel free to bring your canine family members with you to enjoy everything this magical waterside retreat has to offer on your one-of-a-kind vacation.

Beautiful secluded setting. Lots of deer and hawks. Love the white pine interior throughout. Wonderful variety of kitchen pots and pans and utensils. Thank you for letting us stay here for a few days.

Anniversary trip. Romantic. Just what we needed.

Great mountain getaway! Perfect cabin for a family. It had everything you needed and more. Lots to do while at the cabin and not far from town. Cabin was just as described online! Very clean and spacious. Would recommend this cabin every time!

Secluded cabin. Beautiful property. Very quiet and relaxing. Perfect for visiting Blue Ridge.

- Rubye , Posted: 05/03/2023

We loved the flat backyard and games - bocce ball, horseshoes, jenga. It allowed us to enjoy the outside with kids and a dog! Game room was a hit too.

Cabin was very private. Property was advertised as being very secluded and that is just what we wanted. Cabin was as described and we did not see another vehicle or person the entire weekend. It was perfect! It is a little ways from town, but we brought everything we needed and had no desire to leave once we arrived. We will definitely rent this cabin again.

We loved our stay at this amazing cabin! Our pups had plenty of room to run and the games in the cabin were awesome (shuffle board, pacman, etc!) Loved this area overall! This is our second time visiting Georgia from Wisconsin and it never disappoints! We would love to come back!

Perfect location for a girl's weekend. We had a wonderful, low key weekend in this beautiful home. They even had a cute Christmas tree set up to make it festive!

We enjoyed our stay. To be able to unplug from everything and have peace to clear our minds and resolve inner feelings. Everything was beautiful and so serene. I will definitely be back.

Location, amenities and house overall was great.

We come to the Blue Ridge area at least twice a year. This cabin and property was the best we have stayed at yet! There was so much to do for the kids and dogs. The cabin's beds were comfortable, the location was secluded, and overall it was the perfect place to relax and enjoy family time together! We can't wait to come back!

The best vacation. The booking and communication with the owner were easy. Questions were answered in a friendly and timely manner. My son and I thoroughly enjoyed the ability to comfortably visit, the beautiful view and the grounds. Thank you for making our trip memorable. The pictures do not do this property justice.

We had a fabulous time at Secluded Springs! We enjoyed the fire pit so much. My entire family loved having both the arcade table and shuffleboard table. Even our goldendoodle enjoyed his walks and lounging on the deck. We will definitely be back!

Very clean and peaceful! Plenty of fun things to do without leaving the cabin

Our family of five loved this beautiful cabin! I came with my three grown children and elderly mother for Christmas. What a sweet and thoughtful surprise when we drove up - it was the most beautiful Christmas tree with lights and ornaments! It really made our Christmas - also the mantel was decorated, as well. So much room and the downstairs my boys loved - so many games, etc.  to keep everyone busy! And the channels and TV were awesome.  Beautifully decorated and absolutely gorgeous yard! My daughter is a photographer and she really enjoyed taking pictures of the little bridge, the pond and the beautiful surroundings! We made memories we will never forget! Thank you to the nice owners and "Escape to Blue Ridge" for making this a much needed family vacation. We plan on coming back this summer hopefully as that is how much we enjoyed the home and Blue Ridge!  P.S. My dogs LOVED the yard as so much room to explore!

What a gorgeous place to bring a family and unite again. We got to watch deer feed in the early morning hours, caught some nice bream and enjoyed Christmas movies by the fire. This was our first trip staying at Secluded Springs, however it will not be the last. Thank you for allowing us to make so many previous memories here.

We came here to celebrate our grandson's 10th birthday.  We went gem mining, played putt-putt, and road the train. We went to downtown Blue Ridge for a birthday lunch and visited the Farmer's market and shopped main street.  We also went to Rock City and ate at the Feed Table and Tavern. It was so much fun!

We celebrated our five year wedding anniversary here in Blue Ridge and had such an amazing time at this cabin. We loved building fire pits at night and finishing the evening in the hot tub. We both caught several fish from the pond and our dog loved the big backyard. This is our favorite cabin we've ever stayed in and we are already looking forward to coming back!

This was a very last minute trip but we could not be happier with the cabin. We loved having all of the game options. As an adult only trip, we felt like kids again. This was one of the most relaxing and enjoyable times we have had. This cabin created memories and laughs that we could get no where else. Thank you for giving families a place to reconnect and be with those we love. We will be back!

Secluded, pond, comfortable layout!
- Pam , Posted: 10/24/2021
Spacious, lovely porches, great variety of activities for kids. The house is well decorated and attractive.
- Linda , Posted: 09/22/2021

What a delightful find! This cabin offers so many things to do that our children (12, 8, 11) never had a dull moment. Fishing, bocce ball, shuffleboard, walking down the creek, s'mores by the campfire and family movie nights. We didn't even touch all the games, we thought! I love this place and may even want to come with friends. We got some much needed R&R and lots of family time, it was PERFECT!

We had an amazing time at Secluded Springs! The cabin had so much space, an absolutely beautiful yard, and is surrounded by miles and miles of nature. There are tons of things to do for everyone. For sure check out Helton Creek Falls for a simple hike with beautiful scenery. Even rainy days were enjoyable. Kitchen was amazing. Thank you for giving us our little home away form home!

We enjoyed every minute of our stay here with our four boys. They explored every inch of the forest and creeks. They found countless creatures. They splashed and got dirty and now want to move here. Our dog loved the property too! We will definitely be back! We made countless memories. We will miss the mountains!

- Michael , Posted: 07/18/2021

Secluded Springs was definitely secluded in the best way possible. Our first day we saw a snake on the back staircase (rat snake). It was totally harmless but maintenance came and took care of it . We also made s'mores! So our first day we went tubing on the Toccoa River (super fun) and we highly recommend horseback riding at Appalachian Trail Rides! The guides take you through the mountains and creek beds which make it a beautiful ride! We also went hiking and fishing at Amicalola Falls State Park which was also pretty cool! Downtown Blue Ridge was super fun and we went several nights. Fishing in the pond was excellent! In total between the four kids they caught 10 fish! If you are a Harry Potter fan (like me) they have a Harry Potter escape room at Escape Blue Ridge and if you are a mini golf fan, check out 2nd story mini golf in downtown Blue Ridge! We saw deer almost every day. Expect them around 10am! Our 2 Goldendoodles had a blast in the back yard! Thank you for an amazing getaway!

- Jonathan , Posted: 07/10/2021

Secluded Springs is in fact secluded. It had all the amenities required to keep my son and I and wife entertained throughout our stay. We also took advantage of the mini golf, bowling lanes and played 2 rounds of 18 holes at Butternut Creek golf course. Beautiful views and nice people everywhere we went. We also went ATV riding at Iron Mountain Adventures. Fun times and memorable moments to last a lifetime. We saw deer every day we were here which made us feel so close to nature. Thank you for a wonderful time!

- Tracy , Posted: 07/04/2021

This place is just what we needed after 2020! We loved the amenities for kids, the outdoor space and the well stocked kitchen. Our daughter caught her first fish in the pond! Secluded Springs is a gem! We had a fantastic time!

- Annette , Posted: 06/30/2021

We had an amazing time at Secluded Springs. The cabin was extremely clean and had everything we needed for a relaxing family getaway. We really enjoyed the outdoors and building fires in the fire pit and sitting back and taking in the sights and sounds of nature! We have been coming to Blue Ridge for a few years and this has been our favorite stay. We will be back again.

- Michael , Posted: 06/19/2021

Spring breakers from Michigan. We had a fun-filled and relaxing week in Blue Ridge. We hiked parts of the AT and BMT on Springer Mountain. We enjoyed great views along the scenic highway to Helen, GA and spent a day in the German town. The boys enjoyed gem mining at the Aska Gem Mining Co and we hiked some of the trails along Aska Rd. The cabin was nice reprieve after long days on the trail. A soak in the hot tub, fishing, and a camp fire was just what the doctor ordered. This is our second trip to Blue Ridge and we will definitely be back.....until next time.

VERY GOOD, QUIET LOCATION, EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO 'RELAX' AND FORGET ABOUT THE CRAZINESS GOING ON AROUND THE WORLD..."AND' FISHING RIGHT OUT BACK : )
- Michael , Posted: 03/21/2021

We created many great memories with family. We traveled from Florida and rendezvoused with other family from Georgia and New Jersey. Cabin features are just what the doctor ordered for rest, relaxation, and good times. Lots of time, when not raining, spent enjoying the outdoors and hiking around the area--and of course, fishing. We enjoyed hanging around the main fireplace and kitchen area getting caught up on each other's lives. Incredible cabin, incredible stay!

- Kim , Posted: 03/18/2021

Our family of 5 has been coming to North Georgia mountains for 6 years and stayed at many cabins. We have never stayed in low land before and could not have been more at peace here among the surrounding forest. Easy walk out backyard space with views to melt the stress. Beautiful pond and firepit-fun playing horse shoes and enjoying the views from the hot tub. We saw deer and a fox. The rain on the tin roof the first evening was THE BEST! We sang our hearts out with karaoke machine! The games and basement space is 100% on point. Cabin is well appointed and homey. Love both coat racks, well stocked wood pile. We would stay all over again. No need to leave once you arrive here. Only issue is we could not stay longer.
