The inside of the home is lovely - it looks just like the pictures. Love the size of the master suite and the observation deck off of it. This is the only place from which you can see Lake Blue Ridge. And if you don't stand in the 3 foot opening exactly, you won't see anything at all. The main level is spacious and easy to maneuver. Love the fridge! The screen porch was my favorite place - accommodating for eating at the table or lounging in the chairs/loveseat, the porch made for lovely days and evenings of reading, listening to music, visiting, and listening to nature as it turns dark.

We loved the game room especially our teenage son, enjoyed the hot tub and all 3 fireplaces inside and out. The kitchen was excellently stocked with every tool you'd need. The master bathroom was very nice.

10/15- Beautiful home. Private and quiet, but still very close to town. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The downstairs game room/family room was very comfortable, and was a fun place to hang out. Easy to follow directions for things like the hot tub were great!  Everyone was very helpful and attentive. A GREAT vacation rental experience!

Cabin was very nice, but you did need a good 4 wheel drive to get there. All went well until the SECOND night. The smoke alarm started beeping every 30 seconds, starting at 2:30am. It was maddening. I tried to pull the battery, but couldn\'t get it opened without tearing it out of the ceiling. Not sure what you could have possibly done, but it did keep everyone awake (except the basement) most of the night.

08/14- We've vacationed in a number of cabins, there wasn't too much that stood out from the others. The cabin was very nice. If I had to isolate something that was our favorite, I'd say the outdoor fireplace lounging area ad view of Blue Ridge Lake were nice. I would say though that window placement in the master bedroom is not good. It doesn't allow you to enjoy the lake view and sunrise from the bed as you awake in the morning. You have to get out of bed and go to the window for the view. A couple of the neighbors stopped by to welcome us and tell us to enjoy our stay. Nice folks. Escape to Blue Ridge was very professional, accommodating, responsive. Everybody I talked to was great.

07/15- The staff has been extremely thoughtful about making this a comfortable place to relax. The kitchen is superbly well supplied! Comfortable couches with great screens. Tons of relaxing things to do with pool, air hockey, darts, a hot-tub, grilling, outdoor fireplace, and many patios with seats to enjoy the the beautiful mountains and lake. Excellent service. Some information would have been good to know up front (such as minimum number of days when renting during holidays), but the staff was good about reaching out to us to help get things set up.
