Description
Noontootla Creek in the North Georgia Mountains is world-renowned for trophy trout fishing. Located in the highly desirable Aska Adventure area, Noontootla Cottage is a prize in and of itself.

Drive along easy gravel roads that meander through the mountain base to arrive at this ideal new home whose design style was inspired by old farmhouses. Its pastoral setting is equally idyllic, situated in a clearing, surrounded by woodlands and fronting the fresh mountain stream water made famous by fly fisherman.

Noontootla Cottage is like stepping into a scene from classic American literature, but updated for this century. Sitting amongst the corn field with its sharp roofline angles, stacked stone chimney and open, front deck, the white farmhouse immediately sparks child-like enthusiasm. It sleeps seven and is perfect for a leisurely, fun-filled family getaway or for a couple of parents treating their kids’ to their first fishing excursion.  Complete with it's own putting green, pickleball court, and hot tub, Noontootla Cottage has something for everyone.

Inside, there are open spaces, crisp white walls and plentiful windows letting in loads of natural light. The airy rooms are cozied up by rich and dark, wide-plank hardwood floors and ceilings with wood wainscoting and beams. Fine family room sofas with clean lines surround an inviting brick-face and stone fireplace. The dining area offers a large farmhouse table with seating up to eight. Completely upscale, the kitchen is outfitted with ample cabinets with butcher block countertops and the ultimate in large, high-end appliances to make it easy to cook the day’s fresh catch and comfort food side dishes.

Noontootla Cottage has two bedrooms with queen size antiqued-iron beds and ‘country-chic’ décor. The style is a mix of sleek furniture and timeless quilted bedding, all offering the comforts of home. There are two bathrooms all of which have clean, vintage-yet-modern fixtures. Upstairs, there is an open loft with three single beds perfect for the kids’ sleep-over. In fact, with all of the fishing and nearby hiking, biking, lake and river fun, they may even be tired enough to sleep at night.

First, however, you may have to indulge everyone with a s’mores festival down by the lovely fire pit. Here, you can tell old fisherman ghost stories while the background of rambling creek water provides the perfect sound effects.  Perhaps the little nighttime fright will encourage the kids back for a rowdy game of ping pong on the screened porch.

This is the finest farmhouse in an anglers’ most prized location. Let Noontootla Cottage reward you, not just through great fishing, but through an entire experience that will reconnect you and your loved ones for a most memorable mountain vacation.

This house is set up for fun! Very comfortable inside but outside even more impressive! The creek is right behind the house, huge field around the house secluded and fun for dogs, golf driving and putting range (suggest bringing more clubs as house only had a seven iron and a putter), hot tub, pickle ball court, mini ping pong table, corn hole, and lots of games in the house!

Fun at the cottage! Our family stayed at this property and it was wonderful. Lots to do and beautiful views!

We loved being able to take our pets. It was very private. We felt safe, allowing our children to go play pickle ball which we all loved so much. The creek was also fun for the children and pets. There is so much to do that we did not leave the property for our entire stay and had a great time.

The home definitely exceeded our expectations! It was very clean, comfortable and plenty of space for our crew. We loved the location as well as the pickle ball court and hot tub. Our only disappointment was...no fish! We visited the area to fly fish but guess we hit it at a bad time. On the bright side we will just have to come back in the summer or fall when the fishing is better...haha! Loved checking out the area and the river/creeks are beautiful. We will definitely come back for a full week next time....already checking out dates. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home!

The house is beautiful. It's location in the valley on the creek is amazing. We enjoyed the hot tub as well as the pickle ball court. The outdoor shower was pretty handy to use for cleaning off water shoes after being the creek.

We loved that it was pet friendly and we could have our dogs with us on our vacation. We enjoyed the spacious kitchen with all the needed cookware; the activities at the cabin- like putting green, cornhole, fishing; all of the hooks so we could hang hot tub towels; the windows/doors that looked over the back yard and stream.

The property location was amazing. Having the creek behind the house and the pasture view in front was a perfect setting.

Since we knew it was a little far to any restaurants we cooked in almost the entire time. Great to see plenty of cooking tools in the kitchen. Great feel to the place and very relaxing. We fished the Noontootla, but unfortunately the water level was too low and it was too clear.

This is a great location and unique house. We stayed here a few years ago and had wanted to stay again. We really enjoy the farmhouse feel and the flat grounds. We have a child with a physical disability and the flat ground is a rare find in the mountains. The creek being so accessible is great and we had a wonderful time playing in the water. We also really appreciated that we could bring our dog and let her run around. There are a few maintenance items that we hope will be addressed because it really is a special mountain house option. The decor is unique and a nice variation from typical mountain decor. The ping pong table and games are a great family option.

11/18 - Loved the seclusion. Husband was able to fish and dog was able to run and explore!! We have rented from you several times now and have had no problems. Staff was very helpful on the phone troubleshooting problem with the fireplace.

10/15- The peacefulness being alone on a trout stream.

7/15/14- Noontootla was a great experience for my family! The daytime aspects of this cabin are great: lots of light in the cabin and the views of the cornfield are spectacular. On top of all this, the creek is amazing (it is fast though! Our nine year old handled it well, but our 4 year old needed constant hand holding). On the downside, the creek is QUITE cold, but I suppose that is to be expected. In terms of things that could be improved: this cabin is noisy! The beautiful plank floors leave no room for insulation between floors and they have no carpets in the bedrooms, so if you have little ones staying in the loft, you'll hear every footstep when their little feet hit the floor running. Add to this the fact that the 3 twins are in a loft and even if you have the television at a LOW volume, the noise carries right up to that room. Which makes parental TV watching problematic if little ones are sleeping in the loft...I loved working with the company. When we arrived, the washing machine wasn't working. I called and within a few hours a repairman was there to fix it...I feel like the prices are fair and the pictures of the place were a true representation of the cabin we got...

07/15- The structure of the home, farmhouse style, and the layout of the rooms is quaint and charming. Also provides plenty of privacy. The creek behind the home is a wonderful place to play. Linens were fresh.

01/15- The hot tub was wonderful! The decor of the house was beautiful! The gas fireplace was very cozy. The sauna was nice. The layout of the house was great! Being so close to the water was definitely a highlight!

07/16- Very Comfortable and had everything we needed. The creek was incredible--caught a lot of big rainbow trout. Released them all alive back to the creek. You all were very professional and courteous.

11/16- Beautiful view; kids loved the creek. Decor was updated but yet still has the mountain feel. We vacation often in this area during the fall and this is our favorite. Beautiful home. Love booking through Escape to Blue Ridge. Always easy and friendly to work with.

07/15- Everything was perfect. Much better than the pictures and in perfect order. Games and ping pong table + sauna was even a bonus.

04/16- This a a beautiful farm house style home, situated at the head of a gorgeous valley, with the river running right behind it. Great deck with a hot tub, very private, very quiet. We want to go back. LOFTY and modern inside. Loved it.

09/15- beautiful setting great- get-away from the cell phones and awful traffic in Atlanta- the children and the adults enjoyed the wide-open spaces as did the dog!-great bathrooms

08/15- The creek is the best part of this rental. Private and beautiful! Yard is perfect for play time with the dogs. House is very nice as well.

08/15- The home itself was beautiful! But we did not find it very comfortable, the house sleeps 7 but only has couch room for 4 possibly 5 depending on size. And beds could have also been better. We did not use the ping pong table but it was not located where you could actually play on it anyway, more like stuffed on back porch! I would consider using escape from blueridge again maybe, but I do think that the cleaning could have been much better. And just to clarify I felt the beds & baths were clean it was the floors! It took me a day to find the vacuum (in closet in bedroom downstairs ) but when I did I vacuumed! What a difference. And the light in kitchen area randomly go on & off. I did not call or voice my concerns while I was there because I felt it was easier to just clean it up then aggregate myself with calling. Assistant from staff in making reservations was great, staff was very friendly & nice. I have no complaints with them.

10/15- location, porch & privacy are fabulous. Outstanding staff & rental process was trouble free as always. We rent every year and you're the first company I go to to find a rental. When I eventually aquire a cabin in the Aska area, you're the company I would select to manage the rentals.
- John
07/15- The creek close to cabin, main open floor plan

10/14- Being near river, fireplace, seclusion were our favorite parts of Noontootla Cottage.
- MIchelle and Leon
11/14- The site, with the creek nearby. The cabin, which was both sturdy and flexible enough for our entire crew. The access through the corn field, which fascinated everyone!
- Oscar
06/16- The home is beautiful and spacious. It had everything we needed.
- Melissa
07/16- This home encompasses most of what my wife and I dream about having in a getaway home: open spaces, farmhouse, trout steam, lots of wildlife, all nestled in the mountains. EBR is a great company to rent from. No issues at all, this is our 3rd rental.
- Norman ( Norm)
09/16- Beautiful location! Quiet, peaceful, and it's a little slice of heaven. Fishing in the back yard was great. We caught an 18" rainbow trout!  It's close to the National Forest where you can hike and do some additional fishing. Great communication, responded quickly to questions and friendly at every instance.
- Amy
09/16- Love the screened porch and deck. The home was warm and inviting. Kitchen was stocked well with dishes, pots and pans. Loved how close it was to the creek. We highly recommend Escape to Blue Ridge. Top quality rentals and friendly staff.

02/17- The house had pretty decor. The kitchen had all the kitchen needs for dinner, etc. Escape to Blue Ridge staff were very nice.

09/17- Great location, great property. We love your company and will rent again with you.

08/16- We loved how close the river was. Every thing was wonderful. The jacuzzi was very relaxing. The biggest asset was it was dog friendly. Our house was broken into and our dog was either stolen or ran off during the break in. I cried everyday she was gone :( luckily she came home a week later. Because our life was shaken so badly we decided to make a family retreat of our anniversary and we took the dogs. Thank you for allowing us to bring our dogs and for helping us mend our family.

06/16- Privacy of the lot, open living area and kitchen for the size of home. Stream behind property. Easy to work with and informative.

10/18 - Peacefulness. The fishing in the creek!

11/16- This home was prefect for us... we loved the open field where it's located with no obstructed views or nearby neighbors. The creek was the kids' & dog's favorite and can be viewed from the house. I loved the porch's rocking chairs looking at the corn field with the mountains in the background and the occasional car passing by a long way away on the mountain curves. It was seemingly isolated yet a short drive to the nearest supermarket and coffee shop. The home is absolutely gorgeous and full of details from pictures to board games. We will be coming back... may make this a yearly tradition :) Very easy company to do business with, no surprises or hidden fees. Very courteous staff! Thanks!!
