If it’s rest and relaxation you’re longing for, Longview is the place for you.  The only things that lie ahead of you here are leisurely days and glorious mountain vistas.  There won’t be another cabin, road or other people in sight, and the only sounds you’ll hear will be birds singing and the wind rustling up the mountain before you feel it blowing.  It’s simply a magical place to be.

This homey luxury cabin in the forest features an all-wood interior, a two-story vaulted ceiling with exposed beams and an exposed staircase, creating an outdoorsy yet warm feeling inside.  Professionally decorated with a charming wildlife motif, you’ll appreciate all of its thoughtful touches such as an antler chandelier, rooster dining table centerpiece, fish-themed accents and more down to the last detail – there’s even cabin-themed flatware!

Longview’s cozy setting makes rainy days a tranquil pleasure.  Choose a movie from Netflix and settle in for a relaxing afternoon.  Or have fun playing board games, card games, or Wii, which comes complete with the sports package.

As the sun begins peeking out, you’ll want to make your way to the screened in porch for morning coffee.  Relax on the porch swing or rocking chairs while sipping a long, cool drink as the sun sets.

Prepare leisurely meals in this chef’s dream kitchen with beautiful cookware and a large stainless sink.  You’ll have plenty of counter space to create a buffet style meal or delight in the sounds of nature while you grill outdoors.

After dinner, indulge in a nice, soothing soak in the best hot tub this side of the mountain, which is situated on its own private deck for added privacy.  Or, as the sun sets, warm your toes by the cast iron chiminea as you lounge on the high-backed Cypress chair while watching the mountains turn every shade of lavender to midnight blue.  You can also tote the portable fire pit wherever you’d like to enjoy some stargazing out on the property.

One look at the first floor bedroom with its festive fishing theme and you’ll be “hooked.”  It offers a sumptuous king-sized bed made of Arizona cactus wood and matching furniture, with large picture windows that open up to sweeping mountain views.

Upstairs, tuckered out cowgirls and cowboys will love the western-themed bedroom suite with its unique horse pictures, gigantic longhorns overhead and Texas mesquite furniture.  Step through the sliding glass doors out on to your own private porch to savor one more moment under the stars.
