We loved the gorgeous view that was visible on every level of the house. The multiple outdoor fireplaces/fire pit and seating allowed for an exceptional experience outside, so relaxing and beautiful. The pack-filled game room with plentiful seating and refrigerator for refreshments made for fun filled nights when the sun went down. The kitchen was very well stocked down to a great garlic press. (Even the smallest of things like that made us all happy!) The kitchen layout was great allowing for multiple people to be able to be prepping and cooking dinners all together. We enjoyed that a lot!

We booked this property to have a cousin's reunion. It was booked blind and we are happy to say it exceeded our expectations. What a great place. Lots of toys and fantastic views. Anybody who books this is in for a real treat. Thank you for letting us experience this beautiful piece of earth.

We had a great stay here with our "Annual Cousin Meet-up". The kids loved the play room and the fire-pit overlooking the mountain. We enjoyed the hot tub. It is indeed an amazing experience here!

Girl's Trip !! We had the absolute best time away from work with a great group of women. Lots of laughs, games, cocktails, hot tub and fire sitting was done and enjoyed by all! Thanks for providing the perfect cabin for our getaway and we'll be back when the mountains are calling again.

Thank you for creating a wonderful experience and a wonderful home for our girls trip. Every detail was covered such as crisp linens, soft towels, fluffy blankets for sitting by the fire, and a clean home. The view is one of the best we have had! First and foremost, the beds were exceptionally comfortable. The cabin was located close to everything and was relatively easy to find. The rooms were large. There was plenty of storage for our things. The screened in porch was great and the view was fantastic. The fire pit and hot tub were very nice. Your company, Escape to Blue Ridge is great. Everyone I spoke to was very friendly, courteous, and helpful. The selection of rentals it fantastic. We are looking forward to planning next years getaway.

10/18 - The house was just the right size for our family of 8 and plenty of beds. Excellent view. The attention to details is commendable. Discovering a welcome package was the icing on the cake.

10/14- Favorite parts of Lake Vista Lodge were the view, the open floor plan, enough seating around the table for all guests, well stocked with appliances and dishes, the pantry--plenty of storage for food, the screened in porches, nice big bathrooms with plenty of counter space, the rocking chairs and swing on the porch.

01/17- The house is very spacious, well kept and very clean. I loved the variety of family games provided, we had a great time with the kids. The kitchen has everything a large group needs to cook (lots of plates, mugs and a variety of pots and pans). I also enjoyed the screened porch (bug free). The beds were very comfortable and the linens very clean and fresh. Really loved the house. The company is great! I was impressed with how promptly the staff answered the phone and clarified my questions and concerns. They also sent me several e-mails with updates about my reservation and attractions and events happening in Blue Ridge during my stay. The instructions and directions provided were also a plus since GPS is not accurate. To summarize, they are very professional.

08/16- This home is just as pictured! Beautiful view, nice spacious home, four spacious bedrooms, great kitchen. Everything was just as advertised and we LOVED staying here. The hot tub is on the ground floor porch (just in case you wondered because I was not sure of that). It is a steep and scary climb up the mountain to arrive at Lake Vista Lodge but definitely worth it once you arrive! And it is close to everything! We did tubing, zip lining, white water rafting, and Lake Blue Ridge and they were all within 25 minutes or less from the cabin. This was our first ever trip to Blue Ridge and we hope to come back every summer!

07/15- This house has a pretty view from the long screened in porch. It's close to downtown Blue Ridge and all the stuff we like to do like waterfall hikes and tubing. It is also pet friendly which allows us to bring our dogs. We played cards in the loft game area and enjoyed that the hot tub was screened in as well. I love using Escape to Blue Ridge. This year we actually made a huge mistake renting with another company and after 24 hours, were calling Escape to Blue Ridge to bail us out! Staff is awesome. We've rented with Escape to Blue Ridge several times and have always had a 100% positive experience, something I took for granted until this year when I saw what it's like working with another company. Cabins are nice, prices are better, and the staff is great.

The view was impressive. Escape To Blue Ridge staff is THE BEST!I called with questions several times over a two month period from reservation to actual check-in, and I was impressed with the service I received EVERY TIME. 07/15- The area was in very quite and relaxing area..Great company great staff. One thing I did not like and our group agreed was the signs to the cabin not very visible we got lost the first night.. Need bigger signs and more visible from the roads..

firepit. It would have been helpful to either have logs for it, or tell us to pick up some on the way.

08/17- The location of this cabin was perfect.....in an area that was filled with trees and winding roads and very quiet, but in close proximity to many attractions and stores. The cabin was extremely clean....the layout was awesome, as there were beds on each of the three floors! The Jacuzzi and pool table were great to have, as was the care package left for us upon our arrival. The company was friendly to interact with, and very responsive when I had questions regarding the BBQ pit (my fault I could not find the gas line).

Sitting on the porch in the evening and unwinding after the day was very relaxing.The company was very friendly and helpful. We had one issue while we were there with the toilet leaking.
